ABOUT ME

A Born Leader

Brandon Long, a devoted Kentuckian with roots from Harlan County and a commitment to community service, has launched his campaign for Kentucky State Representative in House District 68. His "Kids First" platform addresses vital issues affecting Kentucky's youth, stemming from his diverse roles as a teacher, minister, and dedicated father. Brandon's upbringing in central Kentucky and educational pursuits in Louisville led him to Ft. Thomas, where he found resonance with Campbell County's qualities. As an ordained minister and Director of Education at Trinity Episcopal Church in Covington, his faith drives his dedication to loving God and neighbor. Engaged in public service as a 2nd grade teacher, active volunteer in the Elks, Kiwannis, Boy Scout Leader and Soccer coach, Brandon stands as a staunch advocate for Kentucky's children, reflecting his prioritization of real-life issues over politics. As a survivor of "conversion therapy", his candidacy signifies a dedicated and empathetic voice poised to address the district's challenges and advance the well-being of its residents.
